Art

Below is a picture that Charlie drew of a basketball hoop. This had me scratching my head for a while, until I figured out that it is from the perspective of being low and looking straight up at the pole and the hoop. Not a bad rendering of that particular perspective for a six year old.

Thanks, I was astounded, because I know how hard it is to draw perspective and get it right. Most people would have done a head on shot because that is how we think. I guess this shows just how fundamentally different Charlie sees things.

impressive..shows a sort of determination to have a weird aspect of viewing things... at my age id still draw a pole with a circle at the top.
